Instead of having blogs here, there and every where I decided to put everything under one roof. I've got six armies which I'm currently finishing off 5 of them while the Angels I hack through.

The last few nights I've been busy working on various plastic stuff. First was this funky las/plas Razorback conversion, I actually finished the main paint job the night before but got it washed last night. In the background you'll see another Razorback which has had two coats of mechrite red and several Assault Marines which have had a single coat; they'll have another coat tonight.

In attempt to get my Iron Warriors army rounded off I repaired my Obliterators gluing parts back on and after a rummage through my bitz box found some lascannons from tanks, I cut the barrels off and glued them onto the Obliterators. Recently I've been going over models with devlan mud wash, they've been washed badab black already but the mud wash really finishes them off - I've ran out now so need to get some more but I need to wash a Greater Daemon, 30 x CSM and 3 Chaos Rhinos then paint the bases of the army and job is finished.

You'll notice a Eldar Wave Serpent in the background, I've been converting Exarchs into normal Avengers and adding EMLs onto the Serpents in replacement for brightlances, need more EMLs!

Lastly is this winged fella here. I brought the wings from a local G.W ages ago, someone had ordered them and never collected them so what's there loss is my gain Anyway, the wings have been sitting in my bitz box for ages as I've had other things going on and I've been puzzling how to fit them. In the end I took the plunge cut parts of the wings and got them mounted on the carapace nicely. I did want them between the arms and the carapace but the Balrog wings are wide and wouldn't fit, plus they'd stick out more which means possibly more damage. Will be finishing off this fella tonight then basing the Tyranid army along with the Tyrant.

I've been off on paternity leave the last few weeks and solidering through all my painting, so much in fact I've got none left! I'll get up some pics of what I've done over that time including a Tyranid Prime conversion.

Pics coming soon!

During my time off for paternity leave I got some serious painting on the go, in fact all my models are now painted - whoop whoop! Only painting I have left to do is new stuff I need to purchase. Anyway, Blood Angels infantry are all painted and I painted a Vindicator for them too.

I've been doing some work on my Tyranids too. I converted a Tyranid Prime using a normal Warrior. For the bonesword I got a scything talon cut it off at the wrist and turned it upside down. For the whip I used a spare LOTR Balrog whip I had, looks more like tentacles but does the job. To make the Prime more menacing I added some flesh hooks and some Ravener spares on the back:

And his motley crew:

I managed to also paint my winged Tyrant, here's the big fella himself:

Long time no update!

Blood Angels are nearly done, I've got a few tanks to paint.

Tyranids I've changed my list so I need to buy quite a few more models yet before anything.

I have though got myself a RoB and more scenery, here's the pictures:

So I finally managed to finish my RoB, took about a week since getting the paint. Took two coats of arylic paint, I used a very dark brown from Hobby Craft, still got some left for touch ups. I then dry brushed the rocks on the slopes codex grey and picked out the skulls and bones with bleached bone, the bones where then double washed with devlan mud. The lava I did with two coats of orange, then blood red over the top but leaving the edges of the orange showing. I had some static grass already so used some PVA glue and put the grass on the hill tops only. I might add some more grass to the two flat boards as they look a little bare.

Here's some pictures, I did miss off two large ruins (they're on the shelf behind) so the board is a little fuller with buildings normally.
