assuming its a friendly game and/or your opponent has agreed to let you use FW units...

where's the line for the ork gun compilation? That is, whats Apoc only and whats okay in a normal force org game?

I mean beyond the obivious 7" blast and D strength weapons

Cause the Supa-Kannon is lookin pretty tempting with range 60" S9 AP3, three of these bad boyz each on their respective bigtrack in a squad of three bigtracks occupying ONE heavy slot for 360pts? Come on! Ork playas you know what i'm talkin!

If it's not a blast weapon, then I don't worry about it.

The way I look at it, if an ork is firing it, there is a reason its cheap.

I would be fine against it in a normal game.

Ok, its crossing the realm of FW crazy then.

Let me take 2-3 Lucias drop pods and we'll call it even.

It's an earthershaker cannon (basilisk) that only fires direct. What's crazy about it?

To mount one on a Battlewagon costs an extra 70 points, takes away all the other big gun options and reduces it's transport capacity to 6.

You can't just take any gun you want and stick on anything. If you can take the weapon on a unit that fits in a 40K force org chart then it can be used in 40K. If you can't then it can't.

I understand that. I just saw options like the Supa-Kannon, Big-Zzappa, Big-Lobba, Shunta, and Lifta-Droppa, and had to wonder if they were allowed. I just noticed the Lifta wagon has an (apocolypse only) section for using the D strength aspect of the Lifta-Droppa, so it appears you are right, which is awesome
