I guess this kind of belongs in modeling, because it has to do with potential modification of a model. Also I am new to wargaming, so maybe there is a simple solution to this.
In the DA codex, it says that Company Masters can take a Power Sword and a Storm Bolter. Problem is, one of his arms is covered by his awesome cloak. How am I supposed to give him the PS *and* SB?

Just strap it to his belt.
However it's probably entirely easier to use the Dark Angels Upgrade Pack and the Space Marine Commander boxset to make your Company Commander. Although the DA codex is really showing it's age and not really that different from Vanilla marines now.

Cool, thanks for the reply.
But off topic.. I've heard a lot of people say that the DA codex is old and that I should just use SM 2008. This sucks because I have a Company Veteran squad that doesn't match up to Sternguards... but I guess it's good because I really only have 2 tac squads other than that. They're just painted in a successor chapter pattern for DA.
I guess it's ok if I paint my guys this way and just use the SM codex.

The DA codex's original Main perks were it's Terminator Squads and Bike Squads as troops, as well as the Stubborn-ness of it's units. It also use to have exclusive access to true Terminator Command Squads and Biker Command Squads. While Terminator "Command" squads are still unique to the Deathwing armies, the standard SM codex can now have Bike Command Squads and mount their entire armies on bikes. Loganwing Terminator Armies are much more effective than their Deathwing counterparts, and everything else in the codex can be done more effectively with a vanilla Marine army. The Army itself is also vastly outdated for how new it is, it does not have access to the new Ven Dread, Redeemer Raider, or the new rules for alot of the equipment (most noticably the Storm Shield). It's special characters also take up a considerable amount of the high-tier HQ choices, which is a bad thing since none of them bar Beilal and Sammael are customizable, and you can only take one of each (so they do not have access to the higher tier librarians, Terminator Captains, and cannot put their High tier librarian in terminator armor).
