Subject: 1850 pts Orks - all rounders list for my FLGS

This is a list I wrote to accomodate my new handful of lootas. It's primarily mechanized, but there's also a b-squad that stays at home with some heavy weapons. What I need to know is whether I have a good amount of anti-tank for the public environment, and if you think it's a bad idea for me to split my army between shooty and choppy things.
I'll break it down by unit/transport rather than by force org.
WAAAGH MOBLIN
2 HQ, 2 Elite, 4 Troops, 2 Fast Attack, 2 Heavy Support
Mega Armored Warboss w/ Bosspole, Cybork
5 Meganobz w/ Kombi Skorchas (as troops)
-in- Battlewagon w/ Deff Rolla, Kannon, Big Shoota, Red Paint Job, Grot Riggers
Big Mek w/ Kustom Force Field, Burna, Heavy Armor, Cybork
19 Shoota Boyz w/ Big Shoota, PK Nob w/ Heavy Armor, Bosspole
-in- Battlewagon w/ Kannon, Red Paint Job, Reinforced Ram
12 Slugga Boyz w/ Heavy armor, PK Nob w/ Bosspole
-in- Trukk w/ Red Paint Job, Reinforced Ram
7 Tankbustas w/ 1 Tankhammer
-in- Trukk w/ Red Paint Job, Reinforced Ram, Boarding Plank
6 Lootas
10 Gretchin w/ Runtherd
20 Stormboyz w/ PK Nob, Heavy Armor + Bosspole
3 Warbuggies w/ Trakk upgrade, Twin Linked Rokkit Launcha
3 Kannons w/ 3 extra crew + Runtherd
1850 pts, 15 KP
It's pretty simple. My transports stick together and share the KFF bubble while my kannons and lootas provide fire support from home. My grots sit on objectives or bubble wrap the lootas depending on mission type. Maybe they could deploy along the table edge to stave off outflankers. I'm not sure what to do with my stormboyz, though. They're versatile, but fragile if left in the open for long. I could reserve them to use as a counter-assault unit, or I could deploy them on the table and shove them down the opponent's throat. They'd basically be a distraction for the opponent's anti-infantry fire, to give my heavy weapons a few turns to work. If I deploy them on the table, it usually works well to screen them behind the buggies for a turn or two.

I'm not much of a fan of the tank busters at least not in 5th ed. your deff rollas can do alot of av crushing along with your nobs and warboss its good at hitting armor but i would trade out those tank busters for more boyzs! in the truck and maby 2, 5 man squads of lootas for slammer armor values and the warboss and the deff rollas for da 'arder stuff
thats my 2 cents and hope it helps

Oh hey, sup ork poetry signature buddy!
You may be right, I haven't used the tankbustas much before. I figured 6 rokkits in a trukk is similar to 3 twin-linked rokkits on my buggies, and it provided some redundancy.
If you switched the bustas for boyz, what kind would you put in the trukk? I feel like 12 boyz will die pretty quickly in assault, but I'm not sure 12 shoota boyz will accomplish much of anything either. I could put some burnas in there too, though I only have 8 of them (and 2 of those are meks)

Waaagh! Warbiker

i would either beef up, or drop the grots. 10 of them will get torn in half b ANYTHING that tries to claim it, so Elder, Dark Elder, Daemons, Pod marines, Bike Marines etc etc.
6 Lootas? just curious as to why you would have this number considering the box comes with 5. I would also drop the cannons maybe to beef up the loota's or grots.
Just a personal thing, but trakk upgrade is generally not so useful but if you like em or have the models made with them then continue (:

I have 6 because that's what I was able to make. 4 deffguns from the box, and 2 improvised ones made of my leftover heavy weapons, as well as some bike parts and styrene.
When I get more lootas I'll think about dropping the kannons for them, but I'm also considering dropping the tankbustas for the same.
I've had 10 grots hold an objective several times before, but I guess that's usually because nothing makes it down the field to them. I usually just put it somewhere really out-of the way like at the top of a building and then have them go to ground all game. Still, I feel like I'd rather have 3 S8 BS 3 shots than 10 more bodies sitting around doing nothing. I only have 20 grots, so I have to split them between kannons and grot squads.
