Ok, so I was wandering around thinking about that big old package that will arrive within a few days with the start of my new army, Tomb Kings.
I have already decided to go the half-funny, half-cheesy way with the king with wizarding hat. (2 magic phases in one isn't too bad. )

But this raised a couple of questions, that I'm interested in getting the answers of. I also included my thoughts on the matter.

#1: Do the king with the Wizarding hat follow the Hierarchy when casting normal spellls?
IMO, no. As it isn't a bound spell or an Incantation, he can cast 'em wherever he wants.

#2: If a Tomb King casts Transformation, can he then still cast incanations?
Uggh, don't know what to say... can cast 2 incanations (Which is cast as bound spells), Can't cast spells while in transformed mode..Would say no.

#3: How about the same for a chacter with an inherent bound spell, say an Arch-Lector
No, just on the basis of above

#4 Should I model him with a silly hat?
Hell yes.

ANY comments are welcome

1) No, not an incantation or bound spell
2) Yes, incantations are not spells
3) if you cannot cast spells then bound spells would presumably be out as well
4) YES.

Well, now when I re-read the wording in the FaQ they are VERY much unlike spells...so yeah, go super flying fire dragon that can move-breath and then charge.
Of course, he can't march, so it won't go fast.

Hmm, I had another question...oh yeah!

(#5) If a Tomb King suffers 4 wounds while in dragon mode, and the spell then is dispelled, do the curse have any effect?

I'd say no, and with the curse in it's current state, it matters little.

Model him like gandalf but without the robes and staff....and mummify him.

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.
