Hi, just finished another bug, this time for Otherworld Miniatures.

Gigantic Tarantula ( dont know if that will be the official name, I just liked the sound of it) is ready to terrorize your battlefields, shes big, shes Ugly and Hairy and was a pain in the butt to sculpt under one month deadline

Man this fella never stops running does he?

LOL, you bought a giant kit just for that one bit, didn't you?

Great work here! Amazing detail that I do not envy you for having to have scuplted

Excellent work.

I would have preferred it walking with it's body lifted higher but understand that would have been more difficult to get the mini to do.

Is that a chaos star on its thorax?

Could we see a more detailed close up of the fur texture? In one of the pictures it looks a little crude, but knowing you this cannot be the case.

I forgot to mention, the legs as you see them now are not glued and I just positioned them near the body for taking these pics... when you glue the legs in the right position the body lifts up above the ground. Since they are going to be casted seperated I could not glue them... neither blue tac since the body is heavy.

No, its just a common hair direction identation on tarantulas all converge to a midle point on the top of torax

Almost all those pics are close ups and one of those is probably 300% zoom in the hairs are realllllly tiny
