I'm interested in finding out how well GW did on providing female heads for the Wyches that actually look like women. For reference there are six female torsos, four male torsos and 14 heads.

Looking at the official photos, there are at least two I'd say are good, and at least two that are either bad or misassemblies (one appears to have sideburns!).

The Dark Eldar models are a thing of beauty. I voted 8+

You can use just about any head and it will work for both female and male. I know this has to do with the models resembling androgynous elves, but it works!

I just wish the sprue had 5 male 5 female torsos. Making it 4/6 creates odd looking squads.

I kinda wish it was 0/10, myself, and that they sold each separately, but meh, take what one can get.

Me too. But I suppose choice is always good!

Just sick of seeing all male armies, so it's nice to actually have some of the fairer sex entering the fray.

@Melissia, my friend who just started 40K ran a wych list, and wrecked my sternguard list. If you want to try out a wych list, I say go for it-they're good on the table, don't cost an arm and a leg (points or $) and they're a thing of beauty. Definitely the troops to stand by

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

As would I. I did make the suggestion to Forge World that they could sell 6 torso, 10 head upgrade kits of a single gender for those of us who'd want just one or the other, but haven't received any response yet. I'm not sure if that's a good sign or a bad sign.

It'd be a small army for a while if I did get one. As in five hundred points for at least half a year...

Don't forget that the Kabalite Warrior kit comes with female torsos that actually don't look horrendously out of place on Wych bodies for a more "armored" Gladiator look or for say...those Bloodbrides.

That would make the problem even worse. Instead of 6 in 10 of your models being female (60%), now it's only 10 in 20 (50%).

Or you can y'know...trade the female torsos for male torsos.

*bump*

Surely there are more than five people on Dakka that bought a box of Wyches?
