ok, as of now i have Tau,chaos space marines and have not won a game in,like a year! i dont count tag team because i dont do anything in them....the other person does everything, i try but ether wiff anything dice wise, or just get obliterated.... so the question is should i keep the armies i have, or see about a new one? i am more aggressive playing then most Tau players i see,lots of deep striking suits and some fire warriors in devilfish to get up close to shoot carbines/get objectives,but i do keep a few units in back to be fire base. and Chaos same, but i hate khorne, and run mostly nurgle. any ideas?

If you are an aggressive player than you might be better of with either Nids or Orkds or maybe even BA

Hm well, I like to have 2 whfb armies and 2 40k armies at all times, 1 because it makes painting alot easier, ( Lizardmen getting boring, let me paint some orks, orks getting boring, here I'll paint some skaven, skaven are GRAAAAAAAAAAAH, I should get working on my Blood Angels, let's get started on those Lizzies again ) you don't get as worn out when you're constantly painting new stuff and then you also have play style

and 2 BA are MEQ, small, and tough, Orks are numerous, expendable, and fething fun to play as so I have more playstyle choices.

I guess it's up to you, we all have different opinions

yea, i dont like MEQ because, to be frank, to many of them running around... maybe nidz, nobody around here has them... not sure...

Imperial guard or orks could be a lot of laughs for you. The current guard codex being one of the most competitive around. Orks having an endearing pragmatism in everything they do. Bred for war and the ultimate survivor race. What's not to love?

If you like shooting up close, then tearing everyone apart in a counterassault, SW are for you. Play similar, but better mostly, than Chaos.

why dont you switch back to your orks? everyone seems to be pushing for orks and you did well with them so why not switch back?

Well, maybe, but anyone who sees them say i play them wrong...but i hate swarm... i did do ok, better then with the others but still lost lots. but i was fighting the higher-ups with them.. could be that. idk...

Orks are really fun, but if you don't like swarm... well, you're out of luck, except for nob bikerz. Also, if you like the feel of the armies you've got, I'd suggest SW or DE- similar but different, and strong codexes compared to what you've got.

well, i normally run with a mob of 20 ard boyz in battle wagon, 15 shootas, Ghazkull with 5 meganobz in a trukk, 10 komandos, 2 looted wagons with boom, 10 lootas, 5 nobz in trukk with Warboss, and possibly 3 deff koptas. only 55 bodies and 7 vehicles. not much of a swarm. i rely on the "elite" type of orks. not many bodies when compared to most lists. but i just hate the weakness of the cheap units.

You don't think that maybe the lists you are playing are sub-optimal? maybe changing your playstyle first, then if you really feel the need change armies?

Post your army lists, as has been said. Tau and Chaos Marines aren't intrinsically bad, but not all lists are created equal. Also, please use some capitalization in your posts. It makes a world of difference.

Also, a wise man once told me 'if you ask if you need a new army, you need a new army." But that's just on he topic of starting a new one, I think you should improve your old one.
