I wan't my nids to look like this but I don't know how to paint them. What paints would work (preferrably GW paints) well. BTW I am not scared to mix paints.

Thanks a bunch.

Don't know what paints you should use, but to get the pattern on the shell, paint the dark blue on and then dry brush the light blue against the shell pattern, nto with it. That way you only get the edges of the shell.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

For the chitin, try ice blue 3:1 or so with catachan green. Carapace start with enchanted blue then highlight with hawk tuq. then ice blue, then white. For the scytals, try a mix of bleached bone and vomit brown about 2:1 or 3:1. Good luck. Also, experiment on gaunts.

Thanks for the help guys I am indeed interested in tabletop quality however I took on 40k more for the painting experience so maybe a six or seven golden demon rating.

Space Wolf Grey, Gore Red, Bleached Bone, Enchanted Blue. Thats what I've noticed at least. Could brush the Ice Blue over the Enchanted Blue too.
