What is the best way to get the pieces needed to field a command squad on bikes? I don't think they have a kit specifically for it but I don't want to spend $200 on a single squad. I want the squad to be kitted out as follows;

1x Apothecary on Bike
4x Veteran on Bike w/ Plasmagun, Storm Shield, and Lightning Claw.

What is the best/cheapest way to get the pieces necessary for this conversion?

I think buying the specific bits off of ebay would be the cheapest route. Find a vendor who sells everything you need, combine the shipping and you should get what you want. I have to tell you though, the apothecary bits are expensive...ive bought a few off of ebay myself....almost makes sense to buy a complete com sqd, take the parts you need and piece out the rest on ebay, you would most likely recover the money you spent on the kit!

I guess the ravenwing box would get me the bikes I need but it won't help w/ the plasmaguns, stormshields or lightning claws I'll need. On a side note. I recently bought a box of assault termies and will be assembling them as the TH/SS variant, so I will aready have the claws. I will just need to get the plasmagun, storm shield, and apothecary bits.

the only place to get the apothecary bits is the command squad sprue. various places have the bits for sale but they tend to go for higher than you'd think since the blood angels are the most recent marine army and they can have apothecaries/sanguinary priests up the wazzu, increasing the demand for the stuff. as for the rest of what you need, take a look at this article as it shows you what is on each of the marine sprues listed. it doesn't have the space wolf or BA ones as they haven't been updated yet.

You get two Stormshields on the DA Veteran sprues, maybe people will be selling those somewhere...

But the blister pack of plasma guns off of GW, I think you get 5 for £5.. a bit pricey but I dunno where else you're getting those.

I converted up my biker command squad, plus a counts-as Kor'Sarro Khan from a combination of the Space Marine captain box, the command squad box, and the raven wing box, although my load-out is a bit different to yours. The captain and command squad boxes both have a good range of options, and the raven wing box is an incredible buy if you are at all interested in bikers, plus it has more options than you can shake a stick at. As for getting that many plasma guns, the space marine plasma gun pack off the GW website is probably your best bet, as someone else mentioned. I cant think of any box that'll give you the number you need in one place.
