I have a SM custom codex army and I wanted to know can I add like GK or BT in my army and count my army as such.

Second question.

My friend told me that I can add some Allies to my army. Is that truth and where can I find those rule.


third and last.

Can I add and daemonhunter Inquisitor in a SM army. If so what should it me consider as. or is there like a list for unit from other codex ( SW, BT, GK ) that can be consider other thing. like I know for the emperor champion can be add as an SM commander.

1. What do you mean by 'custom codex' ? One you wrote yourself?

2. Allies are in the WH and DH books. But if you download them from GW they have ommitted the allies rules. You are unlikely to be able to buy the 'dex off the shelf.

3. Yes you can add a Ordo Mallues Inquisitor to a SM army. You will need codex: DH
Emperor's champion is not a SM commander. it is an Emperor's champion.

If your runnning from a Codex that you've written yourself, then you can do what you want.

If your running from the Codex: Space Marines then the answer is no, you are limited to the units that are in the codex. If you want to run anything else your going to need a different codex.

You must use an approved codex. Each tournement may have its own rules but it's a pretty good bet that they won't allow a home made codex.
