I am currently working on building a Madusa for my ever expanding army, (will post it in PM or blog).I am trying to figure out if the Madusa is capable of firing indirectly or not. The wording they use seems to illude that it will chose not to, based on its type of round being better suited for direct fire, but I can't find anything stating it cannot.
If someone could clarify this for me, I would be very grateful.
As well, If it can , does that mean 3D6 scatter?

Do the medusa weapon have "barrage" as a rule?

No? Well, then it can't fire indirectly.

If I use -><- I'm not mocking you, it's a reflex from using the " silly" icon on every other forum.
However, if I use this -><- I might just mock you.

First of all please spell Medusa correctly, secondly no it cannot fire indirectly.

Sihamoni takes great pride in the league he helped create, as was conveyed in his recent advertising campaign for the CMFL that stated his midgets will "... take on anything; man, beast, or machine."

Other posters have it correct. In order to fire indirectly, you need to have the word "Barrage" in the weapon's profile.

Also, you have the rule for firing indirect wrong. It's still 2d6, but it means that if you don't have LOS, you don't get the drop in scatter due to BS.

It happens, if you wanna fire indirectly try either the basilisk, or the manticore. there's more but these 2 shine imo

Yeah, I have a Earthshaker platform and a Manticore.
I just had an old Salamander Scout conversion I was trying to make useful again and found I had the bits to try and pull off a Medusa. I just wanted to try something different against my regular gaming pals.
Deathstrike....hmmmmm....maybe some day....
