i am about to start colecting iron warriors and i would like to know if anyone could help me in deciding what peices i should start with.So far im thinking about getting:
2x chaos marine squad
1x warsmith
1x havoc squad
1x vindicator

By tactical squad an devestators do you mean Chaos Space Marines and Havocs? They're the proper 'Chaosy' equivalants.

No worries, I've played CSMs for over two years now and I still get it wrong from time to time.

Buy the Iron Warriors conversion pack and shoulderpads. It adds $25 US on the cost of each squad, but it makes them look so cool. Also, don't bother with devastator/havoc boxes. The Iron Warriors pack comes with a really bitchin' lascannon if that's your thing. They're siege masters though, so you'll want Vindicators.

Also, use your Shift key and don't rely on emoticons so much. It makes your posts more legible.

There is a conversion pack, and you can also find TONS of bionic tidbits scattered through the SM sprues. Some of the metal Havoc mini's have awesome heads with a rangefinder and chaos iconography.

Might want to consider Oblits instead of a havor squad.
