Just have a couple.
1. Is there no way to take a chimera independently?
2. Can multiple IC start the game in the same transport, even if it's dedicated?
Ex: starting off with a psycher, engineer, and troops of some sort.

1) You'll have to read the codex
2) Assuming there is capacity, yes, rules are on page 48 (Independent Characters) and 67 (dedicated transports).

2) you will definitely have to make sure the troops that bought the chimera (or lord commisar if you take him) deploy in the vehicle, as page 67 explains.
