I remember seeing the Dragon Age Origins RPG book at Gencon.

I cannot remember who produced it and was wondering if it was out, and if anyone had tried it yet?

..so, housemate #1 has been played the console version of this... I assume there's been soem new downloadable content/similar ?

The setting seems reasonably interesting, perhaps a step up from ones generic fantasy world.

Has anyone actually played or dabbled in this yet then ?

I've read a few reviews -- http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/14/14643.phtml -- and none seem too impressed, but no one seems to hate it either.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

it's a nice RPG, I have it and read the rules once or twice. Basically it's just for fans of the videogame.

D&D with some modified rules.

Crimson Fists - 15.000 points Salamanders - under construction Imperial Fists - pondering, damn yellow
27th Virginian IG - 4.000 points

I've bought my last models from GW on October 10th, 2011. Since then I've bought none, I am against their price policy. Screw them.

Shame it wasn't Mass Effect tbh, Dragon Age is just another generic fantasy setting.

At least ME would have been a more interesting Sci-fi setting among, not that many of note, after you remove Star Wars, 40K and Star Trek of course.
