Hoping this is the right forum. Does anyone know if they intend to release an Army Essentials starter box set for the new Dark Eldar? I want to start an army of them, but was waiting for a box set like they normally do with new releases.

One can only imagine they will. I havent heard anything, but I would think that might be on the way with the second wave of DE on the way soon (including haemonculi and some more vehicles!).

---When they do release it I would expect it to have a squad of kabalite, maybe a squad of wyches, 3 jet bikes and a raider....yep, that sounds about right for a battleforce!

They didn't launch with a battleforce because they were expecting people to buy everything individually at full price. There will probably be one down the line in a few months. I've also heard rumblings of a Blood Angels one coming out too, but who knows. Figure second wave for both.

They said so in this months White Dwarf. 90% of the models in the DE codex should be released within a year.
