I love terminators. I think they are incredibly cool. I also have some lying around. I attempted to do a Deathwing list before but it was a bit too limited. I made a Loganwing list that became a bit too cheesy. I figure I'll give this a shot at 1000 points as a challenging/for fun list that is still capable of winning.

HQ: Darnath Lysander-200

Elites: Terminator Squad, 1 srgt, 1 cyclone missile launcher, 1 chainfist- 235
Elites: Terminator Squad- 5 SS TH-200

Troops: 5 Man Scout Squad- 1 missile launcher, 3 sniper rifles, camo cloaks, Telion (super scout leader)-135
Troops: 5 Man Scout Squad- srgt with combi melta, 4 scouts (either shot gun or bp ccw)-85

FA: Landspeeder, HF, MM-70
FA: Landspeeder, HF, MM-70

Total: 995

The main question I'd have is whether or not to ditch the scouts down to 2 5 man squads with (shotguns?) for anti hoarde and adding a 3rd speeder for anti tank.

You're actually 12 points short on the your Scout Squad with Telion. The total should be 147. I'm guessing you forgot to add the Camo Cloaks?

Otherwise, it isn't bad. Looks like a very Shooty list. I'm guessing that Lysander and the Assault Terminators are either Deep Striking and/or food slogging the whole way. I'm not a fan of the MM/HF Land Speeder combo, but if you find it helpful, more power to you.

I actually believe that Telion gives you free cloaks. Maybe I'm wrong as I don't have the codex here. I was actually re-thinking the list as:

Maybe instead of Lysander, try a Terme Librarian with a Storm Shield and Gate of Infinity, with 10 Tactical Terminators with Cyclones. Seems like fun, if not neccessarily competitive.
I think that would let you get a locator beacon on your scouts (at least one, maybe 2, not sure if they are 15 or 25 off hand).

No, he doesn't give you "free" cloaks, per say. He has "Stealth" which functions like having Camo Cloaks, but it's not actually a Camo Cloak itself.

They maybe fragile but they are there.

Why not just use the Dark Angels book?

Basically, you don't have to give camo cloaks to your scouts with telion. Just leave them out, and you benefit from stealth anyway.

I dunno, low model count, low fire power. 10 termies are hard to kill, but without vehicles there really isn't anywhere else for anti tank to go besides on the termies. You are also going to have a pretty hard time catching anything that doesn't feel like fighting you. Even if the opponent is foot slogging, its not like you can fleet.

I like it but you could change one of the Land Speeders to a LSS to transport those scouts and give a melta bomb for a melta run

While it isn't fair to say that he won't win any Objective based games at all, he'll definitely be hard pressed to. The biggest problem for his Scout squads is lack of mobility. Unless he plans to Infiltrate onto an Objective (or to get close to one), he won't be able to hold them for long. If you can get Lysander and the Terminators to help anchor them though, it'll be easier in the end.

Nevermind... my slow brain caught up with me and realized the error in my thought process. Looks nasty if you can get the Termies up to help.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'd agree that it will be tougher to hold objectives, but outflanking and coming in from reserves on the home objective is a possibility. I am wary of having such a light troop count.
