...but regardless I can't stop doing backflips in anticipation of this game, no matter if its old news or not!

It looks okay. Looks to be a gears of war style 3ps, with more focus on melee htan most 3ps games.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

yeah it was built off the gears of war engine, the thing that I find most disappointing is the fact that that one minute trailer looked better than the entirety of the Ultramarines movie, they really should have just got the boys from THQ to do the animations for the actual film.

If it's released for PC, I definitely plan on getting this. THQ is one of the sole sources of believable, interesting Space Marine fiction.

yeah they've already announced it for PC, XBOX 360, and PS3. the game looks like a real winner, especially since they really seem to be taking their time to develop it.

It looks like it may be cool, but I'm not letting myself get excited yet.
The graphics in that clip looked kinda lame and I assume they have major clipping issues since the scene cuts every time the PC is about to touch an enemy. Hopefully these will be addressed by release.
Just taking Gear of War and changing the skins to be 40k themed is going to be REALLY lame, IMO. You need some real innovation to make a game good, not just a license to use a cool IP.
Relic is the current king of innovation in the RTS genre.
They won't just copy someone else's idea.

Hopefully!
This game could be really promising. I've just been disappointed too many times to let anything other than my pessimistic side show, especially this early in development.

As a big fan of GoW, I must say.....
I would be perfectly happy with that.
agreed to that, in fact the whole time I played GoW I just imagined I was a space marine and the game got 10x more fun. here's a bit more in depth coverage of the gameplay:
