Ok, if you had to "squat" a force, which one? Why? What fluff would you write to explain what happened??

And how does your personal choice compare to what you think GW would do??

One of the Marines cause they'd have power armor and I'd have to have squat bikers that were custom choppers with guns. I'd also be able to use the 10 actual squats I have from forver ago.

Not so much a "squat" but I would roll all the Marine chapters into one book.

Why? Because they are superfluous of course.

I laughed at the nids having the tau sicked on them, but I agree-tau are the ones who have to go. Maybe Khorne can come in and slaughter them all, shrug, and say "it was for the greater good"

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

A Space Marine chapter of some sort. Any of the loyalist ones really, be it DA's, Space Wolves, BT's, Blood Angels or Ultramarines. I'd have them well and truly piss off the Administratum doing something prideful but stupid, and get overrun and destroyed by the massed might of the Imperial Guard. (in all honesty, even using the SM codex numbers of 1 SM for every dozen other men, it'd only really take about 2 or 3 IG regiments to match that, the rulebooks and codex's talk about literally *billions* of regiments around at any particular time, it's not like the IG would even notice the casualties if they took on the entirety of the Astartes). It'd be rather original given 40k's previous background of the SM's always emerging victorious against other Imperial factions, and would help tone down the ridiculousness that SM's have been blown up to.

Now, as to what GW would do? They'd probably Squat one of the Inquisition factions, and say the Space Marines destroyed them.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.
