Hey guys I'm just looking for others in the area that play 40k. A group of us meet at Heroes On Paper in Stockton on a regular basis and I'm looking to see if there are more of you out there hiding! We are always looking for more players to make our group bigger.

I'm in Brentwood, would be a bit of a drive, but I'd be willing to check it out. I mostly play at the local Brentwood/Antioch Games Workshop.

Do you come up to Sacramento at all Huckleberry? I know Great Escape Games has a pretty huge 40k tournament scene...

Yeah I actually have a friend that lives like 5 minutes away from there. I do go up there for the occasional Friday night warhammer pick up games but as far as the C&C tourney I don't attend. The Comp score kind of screws my Deamons from the start before I even get to play.

I play at Great Escape Games and the tourny scene is unbelievable! A the last tourny we had 90 people show up! All players played on 45 tables.

Lots of people complain about the Comp system they use, Gary, the owner of the store, likes using it to have a variety of armies out there. He doesnt want the same army beign used like Mech IG or Razor spam because he thinks it takes away from the game and discourages people from playing and having fun. I am on the fence about it. The experience is great and it makes you think more about list building.

GEG is an awesome place to play!

Turns out I live within 3 miles of Heroes on paper, Guess I'll be showing up sometime soon, but forgive me, I've sold my army (more or less in anticipation for a new loadout with the new codex and units this august [hopefully])
