Great report, thanks for sharing. The Necron list reminds me a lot of the list Chrish Courtney plays, he runs one of each Necron unit basically, and has had a lot of success with.

Did Kevin play in the GT? I think his army looks pretty familiar...

Yes allthough he was playing Word Bearer CSM's.

Calypso, I played the Word Bearers list at the GT. As Aaron can attest to I had abysmal rolls all night coupled with the fact that the current necrons really need you to spam units to be effective. His one shot took out both Heavy destroyers pretty quickly and my destroyers fell soon after that as well.

In all a fun game and as always Aaron is a great person to play against.

Poor rolling or not, there was no way to avoid the end result of this game.

Nice to see a person still willing to play necron, despite the low odds of success.
