Well what can I say, I have gakky dice rolls. Yesterday I was playing a 40k game and on the first turn my land raider rolled into difficult terrain and I rolled a 1... Ok, so the other guys turn and he blows up my land raider... In the first turn! From then on it was just terrible dice rolls on my part. I always have this problem. Anybody else here have terrible lick like me?
Haha, is there anything to do to help this problem?!

A friend of mine used to "torture" his worst dice in a bad game. basically he scorched the corners with a lighter and put it back in the bag with the others as an example.
I've seen guys pile their dice in a pyramid with all 6's upwards to teach them what they should be doing. Contrawise, I've seen guys do the opposite with all 1's showing on the theory that they will get bored of being one's and go for better numbers next time.

Mine usually like me. My one friend has horrible luck, although we can't decide if its just his dice or his Tau that give him that luck. But watching him roll 10 shots, roll 9 1s and a 6, then rolling a 1 to wound is really funny.

I know a guy, who after repeatedly rolling exactly what he didn't need, excused himself from the game for five minutes. He took his dice, set them up in a 'U' shape, and placed one dice in front of the gathering of dice. He took out his hammer, made a quick motivational speech to the rest of the dice and proceeded to smash the lone dice in the center. He picked up the dice, and continued to play, rolling noticeably better.

Do you use big dice, or small dice? I made the switch from GW dice to regular size dice and it made a big difference. I mean, I know logically, its all in your head, and if you roll the dive a 100 times, lady averages will strike, but I still have favorite dive that "seem" to come through for me.

If there is no physical modification involved with the dice you have, or the dice your opponent has, then everything happens randomly, you can call yourself lucky rolling 10 6s in a row, and can you say you are unlucky for rolling 10 1s in a row.But luck itself is not a real thing, it is merely a believe that some people pay too much attention to.I say that you do some research on the dice itself rather than trying some dark rituals to turn you luck on.(Sorry I have not done so myself, so dont ask me) But this is my opinion only

Ask to use his dice?
Buy new dice if you believe yours consistently roll lower than average?
Sacrifice innocents to the unspeakably horrible beings inhabiting the spaces between our dimensions whose psychic emanations control all reality?
Either your dice DO actually roll lower than average, in which case you need to replace them (or maybe invest in a dice cup), or they don't, in which case you are fine.

for my guard army, and potentially my Nid army, i use Chessex dice for everything except for scatter, they just seem to naturally roll better than my 3 cubes of GW dice.

Although this is entertaining to read, I hope you don't actually follow any of the advice or stories given here.
Remember, unless you're using faulty dice, it's always random. You tend to remember the bad rolls, and forget the good. It happens to everyone.
Keep playing, and think positive. Avoid focusing on the bad rolls, otherwise you will come to expect them and it will affect your gameplay. Dice rolls do determine the outcome of the match, but they are also completely random and thus the same for both players. If you're rolling bad in the start, it'll even out by the end.

My little brother's dice will work for him and ONLY him. When I used them I rolled the way I'm known for around here, that is, badly. But when he uses them he has done crazy stuff with little effort (e.g. his Warboss with Power Klaw completely swamp Ghazkull).
Nevertheless I have pushed some money and for the first time bought myself a shiny set of translucent orange Chessex brand dice that I can call my own. I love them as they have made my Kroot actually useful.

Im pretty much a sub standard dice roller, so Im pretty used to it. Though usually when it REALLY counts, my rolls come through. I very rarely fail a LD test, and I play Orks. But it does happen, and it does suck at times. My brother had a similar experience with a LR once. The table was set up like a giant city, and he had his LR leading a group of tanks/transports down a road. In the middle of the city was a fountain/debris field and my boyz were sitting pretty much on the other side of that area. So he goes to roll over that patch, and rolls a 1.
The best part was his LR blocked the rest of his tanks, so they had to back up and go around lol. It was great

Haha, I know it's all due to bad luck and there's no real way to fix that, but I loved reading everyone's bizarre rituals for punishing their bad dice. The hammer one is favorite so far. "could you excuse me for a second?" *smash smash!!!*

Rituals...
- I usually carry a 36 dice box of cheesex. When I need to roll, take out of the box as many as I need, set them aside. Repeat until the box is empty... refill the box, start over again
- Never use the dice that did hit/score/destroy if I need to roll again (say to wound).

Rather than blaming your luck, start blaming your game.
If you think you have bad luck, don't run one-ofs. Don't run a single Land Raider. Run three Baal Predators.
Don't run singular lascannons, run Wolf Guard with several heavy weapons.
Go towards near-redundancy and you'll stop relying on luck.

I follow the mantra that dice have no memory. So when I do get bad dice rolls, I blame the situation not the dice.
That said, how you roll the dice does have an impact on the outcomes. As an example, vegas craps dice must bounce off a wall to be a fair toss, correct? I know when I see the large vegas dice in wargaming the bounce is anything but fair, due to fear of hitting models. And chessex dice, along with most 'bargain' dice are noted for poorly rounded corners to save on plastic and air bubbles or other imperfections.
All these factors impact dice performance, as well as the type of surface the dice are rolled on, height, imparted spin, and numerous other qualities.

A friend of mine has the worst luck with his dice I have ever seen and it sucks because we are normally teamed up together. He ran a full blood claws unit with a power fist and was assaulted by a 10 man firewarrior squad. Two turns latter the tau killed his last blood claw with 7 firewarriors left.... It would have been really funny if it hadn't been for the fact that we were on the same team and it cost us the game. Who would think that 10 firewarriors could destroy 15 bloodclaws and take the objective from them?

My death company cannot wound a single model that they shoot at (usually can't even hit). I'm convinced it isn't worth shooting because they will fail every shot. They'd much rather eat everyone in close combat-they're VERY good at that
