Hello. I am Cross_revert but you can all call me Cross if you like, or care. I have been playing 40k for a little over two years now and my tale is a sad one. Last year, due to a series of uncontrollable events, I lost my job my apartment and both of my 40k armies (Eldar and Necrons). Though a friend was kind enough to give me his hand-me-down Space Marines the first two events forced me to move back home, where the only other 40k player in 50 miles is my friend who plays Orks, and while I enjoy gaming with him the limited number of minis on either side makes most games dull unless we've been on hiatus for a few weeks or there is massive proxying which I do not like to do. Anyway, it has been suggested to me by a few friends to get on one of these forums so as not to lose interest in the game, espescially since I should be moving again soon, so here I am. I play Eldar, Necrons, and Codex Space Marines and am working on rebuilding my first two armies. Hoping this forum'll tide me over until I can get back to some real gaming, and maybe pick up a few pointers or two. Nice to meet you all.

Sorry to hear about the army loss. If you enjoy Space Marines, you can usually get them fairly cheap; the starter set's a great value, and you can split the stuff with your buddy who plays Orks. You can also sell the mini rulebook for a decent price only, no doubt, as a lot of players prefer to buy it rather than carrying around the big one.
