I already have a thread about the death of the Emperor, but I'm curious to see what would happen if the Dakka community put one together. Here's how it works, continue the post of the person who posted before you. Also, please be serious, and use proper grammar. Example:
Poster one -Entire sectors of Imperial space lose contact with one another, literally thousands of petty empires spring up.
Poster two -With no one to check it's advance, the Eye of Terror swells to immense size, consuming all nearby stars and their planets. The most massive Black Crusade ever seen pours forth from the Warp, and lays siege to the outlying Imperial worlds.
Let's start this off:

The Emperor is dead. His final breath echoing throughout the Warp. The Dark Gods laugh, the Eldar Gods shudder as they realize the implications of His death. In the first few minutes, thousands of astropaths and bound psykers die as their minds are overloaded by the psychic backlash from the Emperor's death. Warp travel becomes impossibly dangerous, as the Astronomicon no longer guides the Navigators.

Well after the fall of the emperor and such this is what happens to my chapter.
-Storm Crusaders gather their entire successor chapters.
-ultramarines send a fleet to destroy the Crusaders.
-Storm Crusaders wipe out the fleet and destroy the corrupted inqusitional forces in a nearby sector.
-The Storm Crusaders set off for ultramar picking up 5 chapters, Order of the Bloody Hands, Dusk Guard, The Wanderers, Sword Templars and the Storm Knights. All of the chapters prepare to besiege the Home System of the Ultramarines.
-Ultramarines hear reports of the massive force. And gather their forces together.
-The Storm Crusaders besiege Ultramar with full force destroying the ultramarines fortress monestary. Calnor Alrnia, and at least half of the Storm Crusaders are slaughtered by Titans. The Rest of the Forces of the Storm Crusaders arrive to slaughter the Ultramarines, Robute Gulliman retreats.

Keep in mind that this thread is unrelated to the Second Great Heresy thread, so I'm kind of confused. Good stuff, but looks out of place with no background knowledge.

I cant help but think that the tau would rapidly expand after an event like this. Think of the size of the 3rd sphere expantion and that was only from forces being redeployed elsewere.

Emperor becomes the 5th and only "good" god in the warp. he feeds off prayers, hope, and zeal! Emperor worshipping becomes commonplace, and idk.. Angels of death pour out form warp portals and SMITE THE UNBELIEVERS!
