It would be nice if polls gave you the option to change your vote. For whatever reason, be it a mistake or a misunderstanding, it would be nice to be able to change how you've voted on a poll.

I don't know if a thread suggesting this has been started before, or maybe there is already a way to do this that I missed.

The way the votes are tallied mean that what you personally voted for is not always stored alongside the poll results which means that what you voted for will not have the vote decreased if you change your vote, and as such changing your vote is not possible. This is the case on most polls on the site, excluding the poll forum polls.
