I believe your in the wrong place this should be in the 40k Army Lists section not the swap shop.

Definitely the wrong place for this, also it appears to be low on synapse for that many points. 1 synapse per 500 pts is a good standard

Low on synapse. Little synergy, no redundancy, little AT especially for this point level. Some really poor choices (Tyrant set up, taking a Carnifex at all). I'd really start again from scratch once you've decided what you want the list to actually do.

FlingItNow, enough of your prattling. The Carnifex brood is actually quite a good idea. Woe betide the enemy that gets in the way of these guys. The Genestealers should be replaced with Hormagaunts with Toxin Sacs, or else you ain't gonna have enough muscle to deal with....well, much. Do away with the Tyranid Prime to get some more goodies for your Tyrant. I would reserve Biovores for smaller games, although you don't have to. Get rid of some Hive Guard for some Zoanthropes, and it should be alright.

I like it. The only thing I would say is to split the 2 broods of 30 Hormagaunts into 3 broods of 20-it gives much more tactical flexability.

Your Tyrant could probably stand to lose the Toxic Miasma. He should typically kill anything he gets into BTB with either with his sword or by winning combat and finishing them off with a sweeping advance.

Now, I'm crazy, but I'd go ahead and try and give him Hive Commander instead. That way, you can outflank a unit of your Hormagaunts and send them right up your opponent's flanks.

Biovores usually aren't worth the points to me. 48" range is good, but S4 blasts don't warrant a Heavy Support squad. To replace them, I'd suggest adding a Tyrannofex with Rupture cannons if your Meta has a lot of heavy tanks. If not, Acid Spray will be fine too (Especially because it fires like the Inferno Cannon!)

I think I've recommended a Tyrannofex in just about every Tyranid thread I've posted in, but it's only because I have so much faith in it. 6 T6 wounds, with a 2+ save makes it a tough cookie to kill (Immune from Toughness Instant Death, weaker weapons have a hard time hurting it, safe from all but AP2 weapons). Toss on Regenerate and it's practically a tank itself.

I don't see the point in a walk Tyrant without Tyrant guard. Particularly as you've shelled out (couldn't resist it I apologise) on the armoured shell...

Walking Zoathropes are likewise pretty pointless.

Shooty warriors without a prime are likewise a wierd choice.

Raveners are overpriced for what they do. Particularly in a non-ninja list.

Carnifexes are just not worth the points anymore compared to the likes of Trygons. T-Fexes are overcosted for poor AT and good anti-infantry (something that everything else in the codex does well at).

With a walking list not taking Tervigons is just frankly bizarre. Whilst there are lots of bodies and some good AT options this list is in no way competitive at this points level.

I agree, that it doesn't LOOK competitive. But, ya never know.

I don't know how competitive you want to make this list, but there are two main things I would change. One would be to drop one of the zoanthrope broods in favor of a hive guard brood, especially if the zoeys aren't going to be podded. Zoanthropes are outclassed by hive guard in anti tank. The second thing would be to include at least a trygon, maybe a prime, instead of one of the carnifexes. I like carnifexes, but the sad truth is that there are better choices in the heavy support section now.

I really like this list now. Don't know if I'm sold on toxic miasma, but everything else is looking solid.

For the cost of Toxic Miasma, all 3 Guards could have a Lash Whip.. which is much more likely to be useful.. somethin to think about anyways.

You were better off with a Stranglethorn Cannon on the Tyrant. Otherwise, fairly solid.
