Well, I've been watching my friends play wh40k for a long time now, and one of my buddies gave me a bunch of models so I can join in.
Looks like I'm an orc player now! I always thought I'd play Tau, IG, or eldar, but what the heck, the models are free so let's go with it.
I was given and still only have:
3x Warboss
14x Nobz
23x boyz
4x Big Shoota boys
8x Deff Koptas
and one really old buggy.
I really like kill teams, though I've had fun with bigger games. I tends to play orcs "wrong", in that I have a ridiculously low number of models for the points we play.
Last game was a 1500pnt 10 man apocalypse game, and I fielded twelve models. One Stompa(coffee can), one Battle wagon(chunk o styrofoam), nine meganobz(nobz), and Gazkhull Thrakka(warboss). (I also took the "Roc 'em, boyz!" strategium. So useless, yet so much fun)
So Far I really like my DeffKoptas, though they tend to be a little to much of a glass cannon... I outflank them and target some high priority vehicle, like a Hammerhead. Five TLRL and buzzsaw charges later and the tank is popped. Unfortunately this inevitably ends with the enemy slaughtering my koptas in the next turn.
