Okey i have now read some of the IA8 (Imperial Armour 8) and i have been looking at some of the awesome Ork verichles and units and rules and that is pretty awesome stuff you find there!. But i found some things i was curius about to ask someone more knowlegeble then me.

Pain Boss.
This HQ is a Painboy just made a HQ with better stats and still rather cheap! He can get the Warboss Upgrades and of course Dok's Tools so he get's the FnP ability. Or else he woulden't be a Pain Boy/Boss

I have two questions about this guy.
1#
He got a rule that's called ''The Dok is In!'': Each Pain Boss in the army allows a single unit of Spanna Boyz in the army to have Cybork Bodies for +3 points a model.

What the hell is a Spanna boy you might be asking? (I still ask myself that?) But they are essential ordinary Boyz with the twist of beeing Mekboyz little labour slaves who gather everything to them they need. But why are there such a rule for the Spanna Boyz when they are like ordinary Ork Boyz? the stats are the same no extra option for them or anything nothing? Did i miss something here when i read about them or could anyone point it out for me?.

2#
Can i just throw this Bad Boy in a ordinary group of Ork Boyz and then the intire unit get's the FnP ability? For that sounds rather insane actually.

''Deffkoptas''
I notice the Deffkoptas Buzzsaw has changed from 25pt to 10pt. That's pretty nice actually.
But if i used my Deffkoptas from my AoBR can i just say that i go after what is written AI8 instead of the Ork Codex?

Well that was it! Thank you in advance if you can shred some light on this ... Wait there was one more thing... What was it?.... Oh yeah! DAKKA DAKKA WAARGH!!!

If you can find someone who will let you play forge world rules, go for it. I know some people can be really uptight about that. Some people might harp on you for saying "IA8, not ork codex" just to get some cheaper saws!
But you know, that doesn't make IG players flinch much, they'll still drop the plates on you!

I don't own the book myself, but as I understand it Imperial Armor 8 offers a complete variant Ork list. If you use that list, then you can use the prices for things from it. You must use those prices, actually. Mixing and matching the points from both lists would definitely be unsporting. So choose- IA 8 list, or Codex:ORKS! list. In other words, don't cross the streams.

Agreed, with a few exceptions:

Some of the entries for models/units say specifically "May be taken as an elite(for example) in a codex:Orks army..." etc.

Thus those units can be mixed into a standard codex list. Otherwise, yes you should NOT cherry pick units from the IA:8 list unless your opponent permits it, or you are playing Apocalypse (which gives full license to take whatever you want).

Indeed, you can pick units that have that caveat in a normal Ork codex. I'd certainly play against them.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

1. The pain boss is a unit that only appears in the Dread Mob army list. The Dread Mob army list doesn't have boyz mobz - it has spanna boyz. Hence why the rule affects spanna boyz. He is not available to take in normal lists.

2. No idea. Almost certainly a typo (IA books are riddled with them) They've got it at 10pts in the DM army list and in the regular kopta entry.
