Victrix has expanded their french old guard to now have Chasseurs. They look pretty much exactly like the Grenadiers except they have a different hat (even then its a missing plate on the front)

This set is based on our Grenadiers, we have changed the command figures with some excellent positions and 16 brand new heads for the Chasseurs and officers. We are very pleased to announce that the Chasseurs are now ready for pre-order. Once stocks have been built up we expect them to start shipping from the 29th November onwards. The Chasseurs are our second set of Napoleon's Old Guard and completes the infantry for Napoleon's old 'Grumblers'! You can now truly represent the Guard massed columns advancing to break the British at Waterloo.

The set contains 60 figures, also included are 7 regimental flags, representing flags of the 1804,1812 and 1815 issue. Positions included in the box are:

4 officers
4 standard bearers
4 drummers
16 firing line, firing, priming and loading
16 march attack with arms fully attached
16 either march attack or advancing at porte/charge

To tie in with the release of this splendid set of figures, we have had the multi limbed and very talented Mr Paul Hicks sculpt some personality figures for the the Old Guard. He has done a mounted Grenadier and Chasseur colonel and also a Grenadier and Chasseur Pioneer. These are not on general release, however we have put together some great multi box deals were you can get these figures free with your order. If you order two boxes you can have a colonel and a pioneer, if you order 4 boxes you can get the 2 colonels and 2 pioneers. These deals will come in very useful for fielding the old Guard regiments at Waterloo.

Wow these guys look cool , i have been learning about the old guard, tough old vets wernt they?
I have also been watching sharps rifles and drooling over the rocket cavelry uniforms.

Shame they are not to the scale of the 40K IG models or else you'd have some really nice conversions going on out there using these models and the Perry ones.

I'm gettting a box this xmas...marginally tempted to get the 150 squid deal...but er...I think I would lose my mind...and my partner.

I just cant get over 60 models for 20 pound.

You could do some reverse true scaling. Scratch some lasguns etc et voila! Masses of IG without bloated hands!
