Im a little confused on how Twin Linked Blast Weapons Work and if someone could give me some insight that would be great. Im specifically refering to Fire Prisms.

Can't remember page reference, but if re-rolling a TL blast weapon, you must re-roll both dice and the scatter.

I also think (not 100% sure) that if its a plasma cannon, you can elect to re-roll the gets hot check instead.

No, you cant ever reroll Gets Hot!

Twin Linked blast weapons give you a reroll on the scatter dice, which is both the 2D6 AND the dice which indicates a scatter or hit.

Pg. 31: "If a model has the ability to re-roll hits ... it may re-roll Gets Hot! results of 1 without suffering a wound."

(nos I realize you are responding to liam's specific instance of the plasma cannon re-rolling its Gets Hot! check but for posterity's sake it should be noted this isn't unconditionally true.)

This only applies to TL "non blast" weapons though, not blast weapons. Still, i should be careful with absolutes

I didn't know that they had TW blast weapons. They don't sound that great.

There is such thing as an index in the rule book, and it is in fact quite adept at finding rules for you.

The index will point you in the right direction. The rules are extremely clear as to how TL blast weapons work.
