Orks= Why izn't we fighting?

Imperium= Humans and only humans everywhere.

Necrons= You're stinking up the place meatbag..

Tau= Tau empire ascendency

Eldar= Eldar and only Eldar everywhere.

Chaos Gods= Do that thing I like minion. Yes that's the one.

CSM= Doing that thing the sky wizard likes for Daemonhood etc AND/OR really really cold dish revenge.


CSM is the only one I couldn't think how to simplify down to just one goal. And also happens to have my favorite fluff.


You might say whats your point. I think its becomes less and less interesting as things get simple. Tyranids are probably the simpliest and the bore me to tears to read about. I like variety.

Pretty good and yes tyranid very very simple.

I'd say csm is bipartisan; on one hand you've those who follow the "death to the false Emperor!" school of thought, and on the other you've got those who follow the "all that matters is my own personal gain" school of thought.

the latter of the two can be broken down even further along the lines of devotion to one (or in the Word Bearers case all) of the four Chaos Gods. basically an 'I serve that I might gain' mentality.

Thus in keeping with Chaos' M.O. they're one goal is actually many. Chaotically frustrating I know

I think the eldars is alot more complex as well. Craftworlders (besides biel-tan) really dont want dominion over the galaxy again. They want to kill slaanesh, stop the c'tan, and keep the warp in the warp. But how to summon that back up in one goal... damn complex elfdar, just complicating things for the sake of it.

I think M. Night Shyamalan had something to do with there fluff... what a twist!
