Hi guys,

I want to run a 500 point Eldar list in which there are seven dire avengers running about with a farseer; is it worth spending the meager 3 points on a singing spear? I ask because, hopefully Dire Avengers should never be within <12" of an enemy, no? Unless they have no space to run...

I also don't own the codex: Can a Farseer throw the spear and THEN assault with it?

At such a low points game, it is likely that you'll still need something to bust a transport

Go buy one. Asking for this kinda info is violating GW's Intellectual Property rights. Also *posting* their points costs violates their IP and could get Dakka in trouble. It is in the posting guidelines for every gaming website.

And yes, the pittance of points is worth the Singing Spear.

In small games getting another antitank shot can be well worth it.

This forum is not intended to be used as a substitute for owning a codex, sorry.
