Greetings. I am playing in a 2k tourney early December and want to roll with my tau. I have some ideas floating around and this is what the list looks like, with possible changes at the end.

or, I could drop 5 firewarriors, and 1 pathfinder from each team, and create a third pathfinder team of 5.

or, I could drop all firewarriors down to 6, drop 1 pathfinder from each to make a new 5 man squad, drop TA from Shas'el and take BK, put a BK on 2nd crisis unit, and take a squad of 10 kroot. Thoughts?

I like the addition of Kroot, solely for bubblewrap/contesting objectives. Other than that, though, very similar to the list I run. I can't find anything obviously wrong with it.

Perhaps add a BK to the XV88s. Worth rallying two suits.

bubblewrap/obj sitting was my intent for the kroot. dont want anyone deepstriking behind the hammerheads!!

I didn't even consider a b.k for the xv88s, but it seems like it would be necessary to keep them on the table. Any thought as to where the 10 pts could come from? possibly removing a TA from a d.fish?

Looks pretty good to me, too. I was trying to think of a way to max out your crisis suit units, but there's nothing I'd really trade for them, hahaha.

I wouldn't change anything. A third team of Pathfinders would take away from your offensive dakka and I personally don't like Kroot. I've found FWs to be much more effective. Plus 10 FWs can do some pretty nasty damage, and 6 is a good number for the Pathfinder squads.

Like Brothererekose said, a BK on the broadsides isn't a bad idea if you can find a way to afford it.

If you're pressed to find 10 points, maybe drop one fire warrior from a squad. Since you're running ten man teams, your opponent still needs to kill three to force a leadership test.
