Exactly, just like the boys in blue arent supposed to ever lose, and the Orks arent expected to be smart(though that could be from head trauma)

but they will win eventually (the timeline in 40k is known as 'the end of the imperium')
but that aside you are right it seems to be a fundamental law that the 'good guys' win, I guess all we can do is cause as much collateral damage as possible before the end.

mainly Talos and First Claw, Ninth claw (the Bleeding Eyes), and The Exalted (but with reinforcements from several other Excommunicate legions: World Eaters Death Guard, Black Legion, and Oracles of Change)

The Exalted? Awesome. I only read Soul Hunter, so I dont really know much about Ninth claw. I would be more interested in that dread though.

yeah ninth claw (raptors) is one of my favored groups in 'the core' (short story) (my favorite NL is Mercutian though)

No, the Exalted is the egotistical daemon prince, who is unmatched in space combat. The dread is the former first captain. The one who got that blade from the blood angels, can't remember his name though. But he has a TL autocannon.....awesome

Would your nids be able to talk? Or would you make it like pshychic pulses by the hive mind that makes it seem like they can communicate? Or would it be just a lot of screechs and clicks etc

so far i havn't done any talking, but I might do something like Psykick communication, which With the Psykers in my NId's force will be able to communicate with other races via this Psykick conference.
