They did another update that said the weights are fixed.

Mine still came in at 14 pounds shipping. So I still get the Adventures in the Human Sphere in print.

As I contemplate moving up to an "ALL THE BOOKS IN PRINT" pledge, does anyone know how Modiphius performed in past KS campaigns?

How long did it take for ALL THE BOOKS to finally see print and get shipped out?

Did they come close to meeting projected deadlines?

Thanks!

Just saw the KS and as always... its already over... -.-

Do you know if the models will be available some day, so that I can buy them in some store? There are some lovely ones I want to have.

The exact models in the kicktarter, no. They will get released at some future time with different arms holding no weapons, though the nature of that release hasn't been elaborated on. Most assume the alternates will be bootleg releases.

hm... no weapons would actually be fine, cause I wanted them as civilians for my 40k games :p

@alpharius - my gut feeling is this will take longer than we projected - certainly the first wave as CB are much busier than they thought they would be so this is slowing down approvals. We're working with them to help speed things up but even so our general methods are to be slow and good quality than rush with poor quality. With achtung Cthulhu we delivered the first wave a few months late and the final wave has just shipped ( which had various issues) however we made it up to backers who had very delayed shipments with a bonus, mutant chronicles started shipping in November about a year late partly because the core book got way too big and it was the first version of 2d20 and play testing dragged on to get to the point we were happy. It should have finished shipping in February an April. We're not allowing core book bloat in future projects like infinity and Conan and deliberately kept the first wave for infinity quite minimal and easy to produce. We also had the core content mostly written before we started. The art always takes longer than you think and with infinity we had to say goodbye to some artists that couldn't get the quality level we wanted with the books and find new ones. We have some strong artists now so we think this will speed up. What we do though is send out PDFs as soon as they are ready so there will be a constant stream of books

I was about to pay for everything when I noticed what might be a bug in the shipping calculator?

I'm in the USA.

I was originally in for the £40 Core Book in Print pledge. Adding in the £200 pound upgrade to get all the books in print makes the total shipping due for 3 waves come to £39.

If I instead look at the shipping for the £300 All The Books in Print (Which also comes with All the Minis included I think - so more stuff than my original pledge plus the All the Books upgrade), it comes to £24.50 for three waves.

The £300 pound pledge level comes with more stuff, but...costs less to ship?

Help!

I should think you'll need to ask them direct....

could be the initial price was an estimate and they managed to find a small saving,

or that the subsidise a bit of the shipping cost of pledge levels but not add ons (as add ons make everything more complicated)

I did ask directly - well, in the comments section, where Modiphius is very active and responsive.

Holiday weekends aside, of course!

I was wondering/hoping that this was something that was already known and address somewhere.

I mentioned earlier my shipping is different to the initial quote. I was quoted 30 pounds originally on the calculator. When I redid itwhen they updated the calculator, it dropped to 16 pounds.

My guess is I did something wrong on my original calculation to get 30 pounds.

Could be my problem too!

I'll send them a PM and see what the deal is...

Not sure when you calculated your pledge but this update way back when may have been the reason: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/modiphius/corvus-bellis-infinity-roleplaying-game/posts/1383892

Cheaper Shipping + Extra stuff.

I calculated all of the data in my earlier pledge today, so who knows what's what?

Here's the problem, most likely:

The £40 Core Book in Print Pledge + the £200 All The Books Upgrade is coming in at 12128 grams while the £300 All the Books Pledge is coming in at 11625 grams.

The £300 Pledge comes with more (all the minis) but weighs less and costs less to ship?

Unless - and this is entirely possibly - I'm missing something or doing something wrong?

Sorry to dig this thread up but I'm just wondering what the situation is currently?

I see that I can still pledge via the website and I definitely want to grab those miniatures. I'll probably wait and get the books once they hit the shelves simply because there are too many to wrap my head around right now.

In short?

Nothing is finished yet, still.

From what I gather from the updates, a lot of stuff is being held up by approval from CB. I do wish they'd at least send out the minis though. The retail versions have been available for how long again?

If you are happy with paying for individual shipping they send out the minis.

It is just suckers like myself looking to save a buck who have to wait for everything to be completed.

Yeah minis and dice have been available to backers since last gencon. You just have to pay additional shipping to get them separated.

Ahhh, thanks for the info guys.

I guess for me at least it means I can grab the miniatures pledge before it goes away. Gutted you lot are having to wait on the books still. :( I'll definitely be waiting til they hit the shelves in light of this.

...hold up. Which minis are the general release versions?

All of the Kickstarter minis had general release versions.

Check out a few variations here.

I'm a moron. I've looked at them like 20 times each and not realised what I was seeing. Thanks guys.

All sorted now, hopefully we get some more news on the books soon.

Yeh you can get the KS ones from Modiphius store and the generic releases from Corvus.

I was ill last week so downloaded all the stuff available and really enjoyed all the fluff for the stuff only mentioned in passing by CB. Such as the Hypercorps, Criminals, Mercs and o-12 which waspretty cool.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis
