Hey all,
I play Space Wolves and was looking over the army lists and saw that someone was taking Inquisitorial Troopers in their Space Wolf list. As these are not in the codex, I was wondering what allowed them to be taken and also what else is allowed to be taken. Is there a supplemental codex available or can I simply take anything space marines/imperial guard related? Also to what extent can I take other pieces? ie HQ, TROOP, ELITE, etc...

Witch / Daemon HUnters PAPER codexes have a series of allies rules which allow you to take untis from them.

If you want t oknow what you can take you will need to source a PAPER copy of the codexes for yourself - there are downloadable ones from tghe GW but these omit the allies rules, as these books are due to be replaced "shortly"

Nos is correct. To use allies, you have to use either Witchhunters or Daemonhunters. These are out-of-print, so try ebay to get a copy if you really want one.

You'll sometimes see players mixing-and-matching from all Imperial forces (SW, BA, DA, SM, IG, WH, DH, BT), but this is definitely not allowed in regular 40k. You can make a ridiculously OP force that way.
