Can someone please clarify a couple of rules for me...

Can Deneghra cast 'Ghost Walk' on herself?

And can a model with 'Stealth' be targeted with an AOE weapon?

Yes and Yes.

Now note, "targeting" and "Hitting" are two different things. You can target stealth models all you want with attacks, but if you're more than 5" away, you miss automatically.

However, with a small scatter, you might clip them with the AOE anyway, which is why AOE's are a good way to try and nail stealth models.

As for the second, yes. Stealth does only what the rules say. Any weapon out of 5" automatically misses...which means the AOE would auto-scatter.

Thanks to you both. Played a game last night and these two things cropped up, as it happens we allowed both anyway but good to get confirmation. Cheers.

As a side note, many people seem to miss the fact that a 2" scatter will always hit regardless of base size or template size because WM/H small bases are slightly larger than 1"
