Chupacabras are described as being dog like.
Tyranids couldn't be described as being dog like. more like a cross between Bugs and Dinosaurs

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

So 'nids are only interested in stealing the occasional goat or cow, and only attack rural areas, instead of, say, forming a large swarm and attacking an urban center?

I just saw one last nigth, NOOO joke!
So, me an' my buddy Keith were campin' in the forrest and Keith still recovering from some 4th degree burns decides to sit in the lake, WHEN ALL THE SUDDN' a spore pod comes crashing RIGHT into the water I gak you not, all the little buggers kept on coming out of that thing like it was Kate Gossilin's womb.
Me an' him were JUST about to hop into the truck and haul ass, although Keith did lose his left buttocks and some close but something tells me he's gonna be just fine.

Tyranids have features from dinosaurs(claws, carapaces etc.) and some from insects (rippers are an example, the ability to burrow up from the ground which gives them the deepstriking rule, etc)

Dinosaurs don't have carapaces, insects do. I see your point though.
