Unfortunately it was against a beast Kromac army.

You can see a fluff based battle report on my blog:

I flubbed some major things during the game. Two important ones though:

1. placement of krielstone and Madrak on turn 1. I was fury starved on turn 2+
2. not placing madrak beyond reach of Kromac and counting on forest to protect him more than it did.

Nice read, from the sound of it you were ahead but he was able to get to your caster? Would love to see some more pics of your trollbloods

Hi, short report, and I am not totally sure what happend. As far as I can see Kromac made an attempt on madrak turn 3 or 4 and madracs protection was gone, allowing him to finish the deed rather quickly. Madrak probably used to much fury in the carnage turn, resulting in not being able to transfer anything.

Yeah, short report long game long night early morning.

Basically we sloughed through all of each other's models, but I was ahead on
'beasts in the end but my remaining 'beasts were the bouncer and bomber.

Kromac had moves that got around what little protection I had left, and even
with a scroll and transfers and Sure Foot, and tough, Madrak just didn't have
enough stuff to survive the assassination run.
