When you choose to split your 10 man space marine quad, is it ok that one of the 5 groups has the sergent and the other 5 has no sgt with them?

Also if I have another 5 or 10 man SM group do I guess then they need another sergent and so on per each 10 men squad?

Yes, that is fine - in fact its the only way it can work!

Every SM Tactical squad you buy comes with a Sarge, you dont have a choice. If you pay to have a full 10 man squad you will still only have 1 sarge in there, as all you can add to the squad are normal members.

You must have only 1 squad with sarge when you break it up.

Your 10 man unit is 9 marines and 1 sgt. So when you Combat Squad them, you have 5 marines in one, and 4marines/1Sgt in the other.

Every tac marine squad will have a sgt, it is the only way they come.
