I ordered a Kaiser last week, After transfering my freshly painted malifaux & Bloodbowl models in the case I went out for the afternoon. I get back to find my book case sized game & Dvd tower had come away from the wall and toppled over directly onto my game case........... Expecting the worst I reatached the bookcase to the wall and opened the case to find everything as it was completely undamaged. Only the card case was damaged with some warpage from being under that weight for so long and a tear on the top.

After the shoddy GW cases I had which shattered open after dropping it whilst carrying it I can safely say these cases are amazing.

Has anyone else had their case survive a proper test???

Nothing like that. Glad to hear that it held up.

Was that one of their card case or the metal one?

I have the metal one and am well pleased with it. Haven't thought of conducting such extensive tests on it myself!

I know nothing short of a Zero-Haliburton will survive the impact if my dvd bookshelf falls onto it.

It's a 7'x5'x1 1//4' solid oak bookcase FULL of DVDs and videos.

Nice to hear that KR stuff is sturdy though.
Thinking of getting a KR metal case soon.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I personaly have taken to using peli cases to transport my armies in these days after breaking a GW case. If you have not herd of these cases google it, they are designed for use in the millitary and have been run over by Humvees and thrown out of the back of them at speed and expensive kit inside survived intact.

I actualy brought my first one to transport my camera gear in and its brilliant. We all know how baggage handlers treat your bags when flying and i have no quarms putting expensive camera kit in the hold of a plane in one of these cases.

Back in May I totaled my truck; drove it headfirst into a light pole after some dumb sob cut me off. The impact was so violent the Battlefoam pack 432 I had in the back seat wound up wedged between the dash and windshield after having punched the rear view mirror through the glass. The bottom plastic panel was cracked and the canvas slightly torn but the contents were in near-perfect condition. Being mostly metal models probably helped. I'm just glad it didn't hit me in the back of the head.

Lucky escape Falling Airborne.

Speaking of case related accidents my 2yo daughter ran off through the house this morning mid nappy change.

She ran to my office and stood on my GW case to climb upto the desk and pee'd all over it. Thankfully the plastic case protected the contents (all my paints). Strong as they are I don't think that a KR cardboard case would stand up to that treatment!
