Jealous that Horus is Warmaster

Just a couple of quick questions, how do you paint zombies quickly? and how do you paint ghouls quickly?

Depends on the type you're going for.

If they are recent they'll be more fleshy in tone, older more towards an old rotting look. Then there's other things like if it was a disease you might want to do them a different tone in order to show it. If they drowned they might have a more bluish tone.

Really you could mix the different types together to get a more interesting overall look.

After a quick Google search.

These should be a decent start for reading up on it.

My method of zombie painting is as follows:

1) Basecoat in a very pale green, possibly mix in a touch of light grey to mute it just a bit.

2) Stiple a bright purple over the top of this, particularly in area like the eyes, around the armpits. This will be give you the bruising and mottled effect. Don't go too heavy with it though.

3) Give a light drybrush of off white or cream over the top of this. Mixing in a touch of the original base coat will help it blend better.

4) Last give it a Gryphonne Sepia wash. This will pull all the colors together as well as give a "dirty" feel to it. I usually do this after the rest of the model's clothes and such are painted and just cover the whole model in it as it dirties up the clothes rather nicely as well.

++ Heed my words for I am the Herald and we are the footsteps of doom. Interlopers, do we name you. Defilers of our
sacred earth. We have awoken to your primative species and will not tolerate your presence. Ours is the way of logic,
of cold hard reason: your irrationality, your human disease has no place in the necrontyr. Flesh is weak.
Surrender to the machine incarnate. Surrender and die.

Bleached bone is great for the undead.

The Imperium using advanced technology is like drinking Pepsi out of a Coke bottle.

Kommando Khaki base, light green wash followed by heavy brown wash. Highlight with Rotting Flesh and/or Bleached Bone to taste.

Quick and easy.
