If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

If you go to @-bay you can also get a very inexpensive miniature rulebook, I would recommend doing so.

Get the rulebook.
Fast has no impact. Open topped only impacts assaulting
You can however move 12", disembark, and then fire.

Not totally true, open topped lets the entire squad fire out of the vehicle if it moved at combat speed. It also lets you check range to the hull. Otherwise you are restricted by the number of fire points.

OT means no firepoints - you are just in a deathtrap.

Correct by the rules - If your vehicle moves at 10 MPH (6" or less) you can fire from inside the van. If on the other hand the vehicle moves 20 MPH (6" to 12") you are being jostled about too much to accurately fire and must instead jump out of a vehicle moving 20 MPH in order to be able to fire. (( Alright, I'll admit it, I think this is one of the stupidest things in 5th Ed.))

You don't know what the scale of or durations of turns are in 40k is, don't make assumptions

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

It get's worse/Crazier when you start "assuming" Greater Scales/Time lengths.

Let's go there.

How about an extreme example:
If your vehicle moves at 60 MPH (6" or less) you can fire from inside the van. If on the other hand the vehicle moves 120 MPH (6" to 12") you are being jostled about too much to accurately fire and must instead jump out of a vehicle moving 20 MPH in order to be able to fire. (( Alright, I'll admit it, I think this is one of the stupidest things in 5th Ed.))

See all I did was change it so that the Vehicles are moving significantly faster, and now Jumping out of the vehicle moving at 120 MPH and , not only being fine, but also being able to hop up, aim , and Shoot just as effectively as if you had walked to your current position seems even more ludicrous doesn't it?

The point of his post was that while you are moving twice as fast as being able to stand on deck and shoot; you are getting jostled around to much to shoot while on Deck, but jumping out of the transport at that speed makes it so you can shoot just as easily as if you were still on the transport moving half as fast.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
