Hello there, Im new to FoW & its ruleset.

i've got my mits on a copy of "Cobra - The Normandy Breakout" And reading through it I instantly Fell in love with the "SS - Panzergrenadier Kompanie" On the Page 20. Now looking at the 2.nd & 12.th SS PD sybols It seems that im Forced to Only pick one devision to play, and herin lies the problem, I wish to Collect that "Kompanie" in its Fullest at the end of the day, Both 2nd & 12th SS Devisions. Another question arises - Can i Build a list from both devisions?

Also, for anyone interested, Here is Said list - Its Based around both devisions Holding a Village in Normady During the breakout.

HQ - Company Command SMG team + X2 Panzerschreck Teams (All with Kfz15 Feild car / BMW motorbike transport)

Combat Platoons - SS Panzergrendaier Platoon with Three squads of two teams. + Panzerfaust Smg Command replacement + 3 tonne Truck transport.

SS Panzergrendaier Platoon with Three squads of two teams. + Panzerfaust Smg Command replacement + 3 tonne Truck transport.

Weapon Platoon - Light SS Anti-tank Gun Platoon with three gun stations (7.5cm Pak40X3)

*SS assault gun platoon - X4 StuG IV's

SS Panzer platoon - X3 Panzer IV H's

*Artillary Anti-tank Gun platform - (X1 8.8cmPaK 43)

Your post is quite confused and I dont really understand what your asking.

I suggest you turn on the spell checker and put your question in a different and clearer way.

The Lieutenant is a Punk! And a pretty 2nd rate Punk at that.......

If I understand the question correctly...

When building a company, you *must* pick which division your company is a part of. You're then only allowed to pick options that are available either exclusively to that division, or to both divisions. You're not allowed to take units that are exclusively available to the other division.

Thank yu, that answered my Question.

Also apologies about the Spelling, its not my strongest point and it was a "rushed" Subject.

Now, i have one more question before i post up my Revised list - How does One present a FOW Army list here on Dakka? im an Old 40k player and readying though the army list as you can tell, confused me.

There are no standards for posting an army list here, but battlefront/flames of war are a lot more tolerant of list info being posted, so put whatever you think necessary (unit, options, points) is the main one. You can mix troops from both divisions if you want but they have to use the Allies rules in the main flames of war rulebook.

You've submitted quite a bit of good stuff to dakka but people are going to skip over a lot of it due to spelling and putting lots of strange capital letters in odd places. I'm going to send you a mod alert about spelling as it will explain why it is very important to take your time on posts and never rush. Nothing personal, just want to keep our site quality up nice and high.

Any comment's or critisism? Im mainly wanting to play this list for fun, as i know that Battlefront lists are not usually historically accurate but I dont mind that for the time being as it will be my first army for FOW. I have the starter set & a Panzergrenadier platoon to start me off and I will post pictures soon.

Rarmah.

Edit: In the future when expanding this army, i will more than likely now "Ally" myself with my other favourate devision from the Cobra book, the "12th SS Panzergrenadier Kompanie" The "Hitlerjurgend"

I may be wrong about this and hopefully Big P will correct me if I am but Ive never seen a single image anywhere of a RSO towing a PaK 43.

Aside from maybe some token anti-air stuff that looks pretty balanced to me. Rumour has it that the forthcoming d-day compilation books will have a rejigged cobra list where the SS infantry will have a lower, more balanced points cost, so when they come out maybe check them out and use any spare points to get some AA guns that can double as anti-infantry vehicles?

Your probably right my friend,

But thats what the list says, and with my funds at this time, i'd rather stick to the list and just keep the paint-job fluffy until i've got more income, then i'll work on the list as a display / historically correct / gaming list all rolled into one nice bundle

@ lego: Awsome, i'll look into it, thanks for the comment also. As my first list i'll mainly vs. my brother (Oreren) whom is collecting a 7th Armoured Devision (Desert Rats) British Tank Company, and ill be working on a themed board for both armys (Germans holding the ouskirts of a village, well dug in. The Desert rats representing an armoured collumn rolling into town to liberate it)
