I recently decided to play Tyranids as a new army, I currently have 60 points of nids. I came up with what I thought was my own paint scheme, but I unknowingly copied Hive Fleet Behemoth. Now I actually need to come up my own scheme, with this bro just being making a guest appearance.

Pretty shoddy paint job and I still need to base the damn thing. Also, I need an excuse to test functions of the Dakka Sigh, now to come up with an original scheme...

Misleading title you've got there. Painting is okay, but that red looks really splotchy. Model could use some real basing, since a nice base can really make or break a model.

It's not that misleading, that is my entire army. And I left my basing material at my dad's, so that's being held off to tomorrow. What can I do with the red to make it look better?

I was expecting an apocalypse army ''see my ENTIRE tyranid army'' is a bit misleading honestly. I would have said ''My tyranids WIP'', or something along those lines. To the actual wargamer, that is not an army, but a single model.

Now, the paint scheme I like. The grey on the carapace adds to the shell-look you're going for, but I think a wash is needed at certain areas such as the teeth and ''ribs''. The red is not the worst part of the model IMO.

This is only your tenth post, so don't worry about the tittle that much. I'd like to see the rest of the army.

I just don't like the fact that I stole Hive Fleet Behemoth
's scheme without even realizing it. It's making me itch down to the core! Also, I have like 1,600 points of CSM assuming no upgrades are taken whatsoever.
