what do peoples think? and how would it compete against nids? played a 4 way battle few weeks ago and the nid player came for me diagnally accross the board instead of taking something next to him so i got a feeling he's gotit in for me lol.....(he didn't get to me, everyone shot the shiz outta him)
anyway so since then i'v been biggin myself up quite a bit sayin i'd make his nids dust so now i need to deliver to save face.

also what should i be worried about apart from the obvious swarm lord and carnifex he will probably take?
i don't hav much experience against nids, the only time i played a tyranid player it was dawn of war and he was really unlucky.

Carnifex's shouldn't be too difficult to deal with, just shoot them dead. The Swarmlord is a tough nut to crack but Boss on bike w/PK accompanied by Nob bikerz out to do it. Nob bikerz are still a super unit. I would suggest upping the number of lootas per unit, a squad of 15 burnas in a Battlewagon performing drive bys with 15 flamer templates will also make gaunts/stealers/even warriors cry.

hmm may exchange the 19 shootas in the battle wagon for 10 burnas, thats doable, can't see a way of gettin more lootas though

Ya, the problem is the low points level. If you ever up the points level your first priority should be larger Loota squads. I just find that small 5 man squads of lootas tend to way under-perform.

ok so if i replace the shootas in the battlewagon with 10 burnas, keep the lootas in one squad instead of 2
also maybe drop 1 nob biker to get a deffroller on the bw and another couple of lootas or burners
