Is there anyone in Central Jersey that is playing Warhammer 40k? I haven't had that much luck with getting games.

It is and it isnt, there have been some shadey dealings going on there in recent times.
If your looking for gameing in NJ, check out the NJ Gamer facebook group.
There are lots of none Mighty Titans stores in the area, three of my favorites are Time Warp in Cedar Grove, All in One Collectibles in Denville and Gamers Gambit in a town I can't remeber what its called. If you get to All in One on tuesday ask for Patrick, Im also at Time Warp on Thursdays and if a certain group of friends drags me kicking and screaming Im at Titans on Fridays.

Hi there,
I'm not too far away from TOGIT either. If you're familiar with the Woodbridge area, I game at the Gameroom Store occasionally too. Let me know if you're around for a game sometime, and maybe we can meet up.
I am, however, probably going to be busy from now until after Christmas, due to work and family obligations. FYI. But otherwise, keep me in mind if you're free sometime.

Though it might be pretty far for you if you down near TOGIT, I can highly recommend Mighty Titans. I play there regularly on Thursdays and they have more space and better terrain than anywhere else I've been in the area.
TOGIT is a really solid place too, I used to play there all the time when I lived further south but now it would be a pretty far ride for me.

I usually play at TOGIT or Gamers Realm time permitting. I been really busy lately though. I will try and make the 2k tournament at TOGIT Dec 18th though.
I usually don't have a problem getting a 40k game at TOGIT on Saturdays. Gamers Realm is hit or miss and I usually schedule something before I go there. They also have monthly tourneys at Gamers Realm that I go to when I can.
I been to Mighty Titans twice. Once for a L5R tournament and another time to try and get a 40k game on a Saturday and no one showed for a few hours so I left. No one was playing 40k when I was there for the L5R tournament either. I do agree that they do have some nice terrain at Mighty Titans. The planetstrike table and the castle for fantasy look really awesome.

this weekend is bad... wedding and party all weekend
btw...
Troops- 10 Boyz 60 Points
-All’s Shoota’s
-2 Big Shoota’s +10 Points
can't hae 2 Big shootas in this squad :(
only 1
But you CAN take 3 big shootas in each of your 30 man squads... which gives them something to do as they run across the field : )
and your nobs can be a troop choice since you have 2 warbosses that let you do that... better than being elite.

Hey guys, I recently got back into the game, (havent played since end of third), and will have about a 1-1.5k army up by early January. I checked out TOGIT this morning not realizing they don't open until noon. Doh! Will try again maybe Sunday. A few questions: When do people usually play at the store? Whats the atmosphere like? Are there more younger players or older ones? I would love to get a few games in come January. Thanks.

It may be a bit late, but a buddy and I have been discussing starting a Dakka-Dakka NJ Group. Right now we have chosen two possible places to start. The Game Room Store in Woodbridge, NJ and Timezone Gaming in Fords, NJ.
If I can get any people who are interested, shoot me a PM and I will see about selecting a date to meet up for some 40k at either location.
Also, I and my friend are relatively new to the game as well, so these will be mostly-friendly learning games, keeping the points below 1500, trying to average 1000 pts. in order to keep pace and learning/understanding growing.

I can actually personally vouch for both places. I've been a long time gamer at Timezone since they opened back in Edison, and when they moved to their current location in Fords. They specialize mostly in renting time on LAN networks, game console games, and holding D&D sessions, along with the usual FNM/Yugioh crowd. However, it's been awhile since I've returned, and I haven't played Warhammer there before. If they've started down the trend of hosting tabletop games that necessitate terrain features, then I've been sorely out of touch too long with them. I'm very well acquainted with the owner as well. They're very good and accommodating people.
The Game Room Store in Woodbridge was where I started my Warhammer gaming in NJ, and I've frequented their store many times too. Biggest advantage is that it's located in the Woodbridge Mall. Unfortunately, that's also the biggest disadvantage at times as well. But they've got some good tables and lots of terrain pieces.
In any case, if you have a preference for venue, let me know. I'm open to either.
As for my availability to play, for the time being, I'm a bit busy. With all the snow we just got, combined with work, and the holiday season only just beginning to end, I've got some "cleaning up" to do, so to speak. However, once we're about half through January, I should be around for a night a week for gaming.
Talk to you soon!

I checked it out, just seems pretty much the entire group resides in North NJ. It is my hope to have a more local gaming group, generally a Central/Jersey Shore area group that can get together at-least once a month or so.
