I will need help building this

my army of the year started back in 2008

when I played 32 chaos terminators all year. people were really surprised on how good. I was at winning with the list since I played it all year.

Looks good. Would be better if you could shave some points to include ghazghkull and get trukks for all the boyz but that would probably cut down the 'horde' theme.

I also like your idea of a new army every year sounds fun. I foresee you winning a lot of games this year as this list is pretty competitive.

I don't know too much about Orks or 40k at this point other then reading the forums but the list looks like a lot of fun. The one thing I have read up on though that you may want to change is the Rokkit Launchas on your shoota boyz. You have a ton of anti armor between the Lootas, Deff Rollas, Shock Attack Gun and Zzap guns. I believe Big Shootas would be more beneficial to them and give you 30 extra points, also dropping Rokkits from your sluggas in the Battlewagons will free up some points. I would try and get Ghaz in there even if it means dropping some lootas or big gunz his waaagh is so nice with mechanized/foot slogga which you appear to be running. To free up an HQ slot you will have to drop a Big Mek and I recommend the Shock Attack Gun, it's a fun guy to have around but the chance to "misfire" is there, it also scatters and to be really effective you need to be rolling an 8+. If you have some left over points gretchin would be great, they can sit on objectives and protect your big guns and lootas from being deep strike attacked, plus it's great to hear stories of victories of the little buggers taking down things worth many more times the points then they are.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

It's a good list. I congratulate you sir on being able to play a single list all year. I personally have the attention span of a gnat and generally run 2-3 different armies from different books all year long.

And the list is solid.

The internetz are gunna go crazy on you about combining Mech with Horde. So get ready, but me personally don't have a problem with it IF you use your Mech wisely. I have been experimenting with Mech/Horde list myself and so far it's been working out good if the dice roll your way. What I have been doing is reserving the Trukks/Battle Wagons. Marching the Horde forward. Then having the Trukks/Battlewagons come in off the backside to fill in where I think I need them. I just wish we had a IC that allowed us to manipulate the reserve rolls (Hive Tyrant, Master of the Fleet, etc).

Couple problems I see-

Lootas - You need to either go max'd out or min. 10 Lootas get shot once, loose 3 models, take a leadership test and they you run (well there's a good chance you will) Take either 5 or 15.

Big Guns - Zapp Guns really suck for a couple reasons. They are random, they have to have LOS, they are crewed by Gretchin. Lobbas are awesome. You can hide them because you don't need LOS, they are barrage (curse or blessing depending on where you land), they cause pinning.

Trukks - Standard eqiupment for trukks is a reinforced ram. It's nice to get the re-roll of DT tests but being able to tankshock units is awesome.

Other than that it will be a fun list to play

Replace the gunz which are near worthless with about 6 kanz for the walkin boyz.

rivers64 that's limited and almost pointless advise. First he'd need to find 36pts just to field 3 kanz where would he find them? (honest question, when advising changing of the list explain where things should come from and why). To field 6 he'd have to completely rearrange the list.

I'd prefer kannons of zzap guns personally but that's because they perform quite well for my buddy. If you deploy aggressively you might get to use the Zzap guns.

I think it looks like a lot of fun to play. I played mixed horde/mech last summer when I first got into the game with moderate success. Lootas are my favourite unit in the entire 'dex. I would suggest dropping the zzap guns for kannons. Lobbas are alright, but the increased versatility of the shell/frag option really pays off in my opinion. Big Meks are so awesome.

I wish I hadn't thought the Username field was just Confirm Email Address. I should really READ things rather than just skimming them.

Boring. It's the only word that can descripe this list. Sorry mate. I don't see any holes if you wanna make a Green Tide army then it works perfect. But boring. Orks have so meny awesome units so it's a shame you only take Boyz :/

the zap guns are about to become kannons if ebay goes my way today. good advice on the rams for the trucks.

my thinking on the lootas are that with the trucks and wagons rolling up. there will be little left to shoot at the lootas.

I was going to run with no vehicles but I like the truck and wagon models too much

as far as boring
i see that 1 take 8 different things
shock attack custom
cust force field
truck
wagon
big gunz

I tend to go one sided in my lists and like to play that way. what is boring for one is anothers paradise
