I absolutely loved the first few books, but fantasy hardly ever turns out well on screen, i really hate the crap all the actors come out with on that video where they are explaining their characters when you can tell they know nothing about the novels, and also the series has just went on for too long, and i grew more and more resentful of that fat hippy when he just stopped bothering writing them.

Lets see how it turns out. Im hoping for the best, because the first three books filled me pleasure and kept me up late many a night.

Yes, because a 4+ book body of work can definitely be adequately examined in a matter of less than 100 pages. Good call.

I'm sorry that Mr. Martin isn't a good enough writer to adequately excite me within the span of 100 pages or so.

You don't need to back him up or anything, I think his feelings will be just fine without your support.

This looks great. I'm not so sure about the 2/3s of the Lanisters but apart from that they really nail it. Can't believe it's "only" a TV movie. Looks almost as good as Weta.
