Hi, I'm new on the boards and new to 40K 5th edition (although I played a fair amount of 3rd). I started my 5th edition armies by ebaying large collections and supplementing them with various new and used purchases. I've got a little over 2000 points each in Dark Angels and Ultramarines, mostly painted by someone else with a few touch-ups by me. I have painted a few guys start-to-finish though, shooting for pretty good tabletop quality.

In terms of playing the game, I've done a few learning games against people in Kingsville, some of whom are on this board if I'm not mistaken. I screwed up quite a bit due to ignorance of the rules, but now I think I've got them under my belt and I'm ready to start screwing up due to tactical incompetence instead. I look forward to discussing the game and sharing ideas with the forum.
